The video of a racist, abusing an Indian origin couple with abusive and repulsive statements went viral on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened outside a car park in Walmart, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada on Friday at about 1:00 PM. Dale Robertson got on to his silver Chevrolet pickup vehicle and the footage seems that he hit the person who was capturing the video, and when confronted, exhibited peaks of racism.
When confronted and asked 'what example are you setting for your children?' he tried to drive away. The man ran towards the car and barely lay his hand on him and Dale says, 'you put your hand on me, I will break your leg.'
The lady tries to capture the license plate of his car and he hit her with the truck, accelerating and braking, and it could be heard from the video of him saying, 'Oops, get out of the way.' Clearly, after hurting the couple, he tried to drive away and in turn said that they were harassing him. He wanted them to go back to their own country and when the man said that he was a Canadian citizen, he immediately countered them with 'show me, prove it to me, I don't believe you, you don't talk like a Canadian,' the last sentence reeking of sarcastic mimicking.
While finally driving away, he openly declared that he was a racist by saying, 'I don't like you, I don't like her and I would kill your children first.'
Dale Robertson was charged with threatening death, dangerous driving and failing to remain in the scene of an accident, and the case is now being investigated as a hate crime.
The Police said that the woman had some minor injuries, but nothing of a serious concern.
