Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai is the first Indian-born candidate for the U.S.Senate in the history of the United States.

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, PhD (M.I.T.) The inventor of email and polymath - holds four degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT is No. 1 among top universities of the world) and is a world-renowned scientist-technologist and entrepreneur.

Dr.Shiva Ayyadurai has launched numerous companies across the fields of media, health and medicine, and has plans to promote SIDDHA (Indian) medicines across the globe. He is a Fulbright Scholar, Lemelson-MIT Awards Finalist, First Outstanding Scientist and Technologist of Indian Origin (STIO), Westinghouse Science Talent Honors Award recipient, and was nominated for the U.S. National Medal of Technology and Innovation.

He is the Founder of Center for Integrative Systems that performs fundamental research in systems thinking and is the home of Innovation Corps and C.L.E.A.N/R.A.W. certifications. In 1978, as a 14-year-old boy, he invented email - the system we all know and use today, when he wrote 50,000 lines of code to create the first electronic version of the paper-based interoffice mail system, which he named "email," for which he was awarded the first Copyright for “Email” at a time when Copyright was the only way to protect software inventions.

His latest invention CytoSolve, emerging from his doctoral research at MIT, provides a revolutionary platform for discovering new medicines, faster and cheaper, for diseases such as pancreatic cancer and Alzheimer's.

He is an Independent candidate running against Elizabeth Warren of the Democratic Party for the U.S. Senate from the state of Massachusetts.
